So here’s a new one, a pretty strange combo some might think. But it should get the party starting. I mixed “Titanium” with 2 classic from the 80s you all should know.

Chocomang and Sound Unsound called out for a punk rock mashup album and ended up with not less than 31 tracks by 16 artists, and I was one of them. “American Generation” is the shortest mashup I ever produced, clocks in under one and a half minute. Still the source tracks are complimenting each other nicely and why produce a 4 minute mashup when you only need 1,5 minutes to get the message along? Oh, nothing personal, I do love you my US fans
Anyway, single track below but I recommend getting the full album HERE.

So the new year just started and of course there are a bunch of blogs and DJs who are releasing their fav mashups lists of the past year. So here are a couple of interesting ones.
In the ranking of the most viewed posts on AudioPorn Central not less than 3 Schmolli tracks are in the top 20! [LINK]

“In The Mood For Some Killing” is in the annual “Best Of Bootie” list. [LINK]

2 Schmolli tracks are on the “Mash-Up Your Bootz” best of compilation for 2011. [LINK]

Mashstix nominated also 2 of my mashups in their top 15. [LINK]

“Invincible Girls Run The World” in the top 10 of Popservations selections. [LINK]

And other producers/DJs also seem to dig my work form the past year. Check out the lists from DJ Y alias JY and Frail Limb Purity.
Check out the previous years if you wish [2008] [2009] [2010]
So here it is, my first mash of 2012. A pretty much pop mix with Bruno Mars and Adele. For the video I took my old camera and did a very special intro for you, just to thank you for the past year and wish you a happy new one.

I know the Celldweller tune is probably rather a remix combining several tunes than a mashup and also Celldweller don’t do mashups usually…but it’s a freaking awesome mix!

So this year I finally found time and inspiration to do another Christmas mash. I mixed Wham! (no, NOT “Last Christmas” hehe) with The Jackson 5. It’s the second time I did a mashup for DJ BC’s annual “Santastic” series. You can download my track and all the other great Xmas mashup HERE.
Here’s a little video that features some legendary Xmas scenes with Al Bundy
Here are 2 Christmas mashups from the past years.
After being invited to the Paaspop Festival earlier this year I am playing in Holland again. See me live in Schijndel this Saturday (Dec 17). Grab your tickets HERE. Now watch the trailer
Here’s a quick one just for fun. It mixes Germany’s brass band LaBrassBanda and the Beastie Boys. The video footage is taken from Venezuela’s b-boy Lil G!

Here’s a little interview I did recently with Germany’s DJ Maez for his Mixblick blog. Read it HERE (in German language).
