This combination was pretty obvious. Avril Lavigne namechecks Radiohead on her new single “Here’s To Never Growing Up”. And luckily enough one of my fav Radiohead songs “No Surprises” is in the same key. Enjoy.

Here’s one newsletter subscribers already had in their mail last month. It’s Icona Pop ft. Charli XCX vs. Zedd ft. Foxes. Special thanx to VJ Sam for producing a video for it! You can download it from my Soundcloud site or HERE (Zippyshare) where you also get the extended version if you need it for DJ purposes.
So here’s my first mashup of 2013. It consists of No Doubt’s ska-ish “Push And Shove” and the vocals of the black music classic “This Is How We Do It” by Montell Jordan and Maroon 5′s current single “One More Night”. Happy New Year folks!

It’s that time of the year again. Like every year Atlanta based DJ BC gathered some of the finest mashup producers from all over the world to produce tracks for his annual “Santastic” series. And like last year I found some time to do a special Christmas mashup for the album. Yes it’s that great (to some annoying though haha) synth line of Major Lazer’s “Pon De Floor” transformed into “Jingle Bells”. Also I discovered this hungarian guy called Soma who did a one-man-acapella version of the same tune. Found it great, used it. You can watch the original video HERE. To round things up I need to find a “Little Drummer Boy” version just because of the dominant snare drum on the Major Lazer tune. Found it in Jars Of Clay’s cover version. Ok so have a wonderful Christmas time everybody. You can grab the “Santastic 7″ Xmas mashup album HERE, feel free to also check out the releases of the past years HERE. I recommend to get the album but you can also just download my tune below. DJs might be interested in grabbing the extended version from the album page HERE (last track).
Here’s the video, feel free to check out the links in the describtion.
After “KNASbusters” here’s the second single of my forthcoming album called “80s NOW!” which will be released November 22nd. “Only Imagine This City” is a mix between”I Can Only Imagine” by David Guetta and Starship’s classic “We Built This City”. DJs please note that there will be an extended version of this tune available on the album.
Time for a slow mashup. This time I turned a rock classic into a ballad by mixing Eric Clapton with Thin Lizzy. Enjoy!
Just 2 weeks left until Halloween! So here we go, “KNASbusters” is ready to rock the dancefloor at those special parties around that time of the year. It’s a mix between SHM’s Steve Angello and, of course, Ray Parker Jr.’s movie classic. Oh and this will also be the first release of an EP I am currently working on called “80′s now!”. The mashups on this EP (release: mid November) will contain mixes between 80′s classics and current electro house tunes. There is also an extended version of “KNASbusters” available for DJs.
Be sure to check out the previous DJ Schmolli Halloween tracks here!
Led Zeppelin going punk rock in this one. This mashup actually has a long story to tell from the first demo that I did in September 2007 until I finally finished and released it today. So why the hell did this one take 5 years in the making? Ok, first off you have to know that when I had the idea for this combo in 2007 there was no “Whole Lotta Love” acapella available. Instead I’ve used a DIY acapella that I was able to get out of the studio track by Lez Zeppelin, an all-girl Led Zeppelin cover band from the US. This DIY acapella did sound great in the first verse but not as fine from the 2nd verse on so I decided not to release it back then. Then earlier this year the original studio tracks of “Whole Lotta Love” finally leaked and I began to fit the Robert Plant acapella into the project file that I still had from back in the day. Ok, so this could have been released in May/June but as you might know I’ve also released “Rock Of Ages” around that time which also uses this famous Led Zeppelin song and I didn’t want to put out 2 tracks with the same sources at a time. Long talk, here I present to you “Still Waiting For A Whole Lotta Love”, at last. Enjoy!
Here’s a pretty mainstream party mashup for you people! It’s based on Nicki Minaj’s “Starships” and adds current chart toppers like Zedd and Jessie J plus classics by Cutting Crew and Heavy D & The Boyz. Oh and did I mention there’s also “Gangnam Style” by Psy in it?
Enjoy, DJs also have the chance for an extended version download.
