A couple of weeks ago I posted a demo of this mashup on my Facebook site and it also appears in my dubstep minimix and many people were asking me to finish it. So HERE it is, Rammstein going dubstep. Enjoy!
Yesterday one of Austria’s greatest musicians passed away at age 62, Kurt Hauenstein, band leader of the group Supermax. Being very successful all over the world since the late 70s he was a musical visioneer, making a unique mix of pop, rock, reggae and world music as well as being influencial on electronic and even early house music. Here is a 15 minute mimimix with his best known songs, of course with the all-time-classic “Lovemachine”. All interview parts used in the mix are courtesy of an interview by Manuel C. Mittas held in April 2005. No mashups or remixes this time, just originals! R.I.P. Kurtl.

Here’s a mashup I started back in 2009, I wanted to spin it when I’ve been playing at Bootie Boston but I didn’t since I wasn’t able to finish it in time. Now I finally brought it to an end, thanx to St. Patrick’s Day which is just around the corner. It’s a mix between the Dropkick Murphys and Jay-Z with some additional production done by myself. HAPPY ST. PATRICK’S DAY!
