There are so many great new Schmolli videos on Youtube and i’ll be presenting some of them in the near future. Most of the video editing artists mix the original music videos of the songs used in the mash but this one here is a little different
It uses a 3-year-old mashup called “Don’t Cha Rock My Milkshake”, you’ll find it on my greatest hits album. The video has been made by England’s Lee Naven. Have a look and enjoy! For maximum pleasure click HERE and change setting to high quality mode!

Here’s a modern version of the Smashing Pumpkins alternative classic “Zero”. I also added some of the original guitars to the mix to make it especially noisy for you people
Grab it HERE.

Ok, HERE’s a really dirty tune. I apologize to all folks who might be offended by it but I hope that most people listen to it with a little smile on their face. It’s a mix of Queen & Three 6 Mafia with some bits of Twisted Sister and Paramore. I will not make any clean version of the tune, take it or leave it. And yes, it’s not safe for work as you might have guessed
This is an APC exclusive but you can also grab it via Mashup Industries!

That’s right! Britain’s legendary NME magazine posted an online article just a few days ago. They picked 21 interesting mashups to listen to and there were non less than four Schmolli mixes in that list. A pity they didn’t credit all the bootleggers in that article but we all know that these four are Schmolli tracks, don’t we? Look out for “Crazy Like An Egyptian” (mp3), “Justice For Billie Jean” (mp3/youtube), “No Wonderwall Diggity” (mp3/youtube) and “M.I.A. Wanted Dead Or Alive” (mp3/youtube1/youtube2). Read the whole article HERE.

2008 has been a tremendous year for DJ Schmolli. Touring though Europe and meeting a lot of really nice people. Also I did some of my most successful mashups in 2008. So it’s really great that two of my tracks made it onto the “Best of Bootie 2008″ CD. Click HERE to view this years selection. There’s a 77-minute continous mix which includes 20 tracks and there are 13 bonus tunes as single downloads available on the site.

Culture Bully has also been very supportive throughout the year. “Wicked Wedding” made it into their top 15 mashups of 2008 list (Nr. 13 to be precise)! Have a look HERE. Culture Bully also produced a compilation album called “Mashed 2008″ where some of the best mashup artists in the world contributed unreleased stuff. I decided to put “Scream Aim Dance” on the album, a track which will be released next week together with another Lady Gaga mash. But if you don’t wanna wait grab it HERE. Last but not least I’ve been asked to name my top 5 mashups of 2008 too. See who’s in that list and who nominated some of my tunes (haha) HERE.

Last but not least “Wicked Wedding” is also included in the Attuworld “Mashups Of The Year” list. Have a LOOK!
